Docketing Procedure
1. Review the documents to ensure they meet the filing requirements
2. Docket the Notice of Change of Address [Bankruptcy > Notices > Notice of Change of Address] as follows:
• Click Bankruptcy
• Click Notice
• Enter Case Number
• Click Next
• Verify case information and click Next
• Select Notice of Change of Address
• Click Next
• Select or Add/Create Party
• Click Next
• Attach PDF
• Click Next
• Select the appropriate radio button to the following question:
Are you attempting to override a national address on file with BNC?
If you select [No] to this question:
• Click Next
• Click Next again
• Modify docket text as appropriate
• Click Next
Are you attempting to override a national address on file with BNC?
If you select [Yes] to this question:
• Return to the event selection list and select "Notice of Override of Preferred Address"
• Click Next
• Select of Add/Create Party
• Click Next
• Attach PDF
• Click Next
• Review due date for adding preferred address to the matrix
• Click Next
• Click Next twice more
Then, proceed as follows:
• Review final docket text for accuracy before submitting
• Click Next
• Review Notice of Electronic Filing
NOTE: If the change of address is for a creditor, update the address through Creditor Maintenance.
