Uploading Proposed Order (includes special instructions regarding Proposed Exhibit to Order)
If an order includes or references an exhibit that is not available in word processing format, counsel should file the exhibit in portable document format (pdf) using the Proposed exhibit to order event in ECF prior to uploading the order. The proposed exhibit must be linked to the related motion.
The proposed order should be submitted in word processing format after the response time for the motion has passed. The document number assigned to the exhibit by ECF should be included within the body of the proposed order. The proposed order may also expressly provide for the adoption of the exhibit.

Proposed order docket entries display on the docket report for the public. However, these are not signed orders and there is no document attached with the entry. Only orders signed by the judge are entered by court staff. These orders will contain a link to the document for public viewing.
Each order uploaded receives a Reference ID number (i.e., Ref-ID: 1141914389937_3). This number confirms for the user that the court has received the proposed order.
