Diskette Specifications
- Only a 3.5" High Density (HD) MS DOS format diskettes will be accepted.
- Include only one case on each diskette.
- Save the file to the diskette in ASCII format only (not delimited) with a .txt file extension.
- Name the document the debtor's last name and a file extension of .txt.
Example: A matrix for debtor John Doe would be saved as doe.txt
- Once the matrix has been uploaded into ECF the diskette will be returned to the filer.
- If a diskette with a matrix is received in the mail, no diskette will be returned.
- Diskette should be clearly labeled with the debtor's name.
- The debtor name must match the electronic document name.
- Verification of Mailing Matrix should be submitted on diskette as a PDF file.
Matrix Specifications
The matrix must meet the following specifications:
- Must be an ASCII DOS text file
- DO NOT include page titles, headers, footers, or page numbers
- One (1) inch margins for left, top, bottom
- Left justified
- One single column
- 5 lines per address maximum
- Maximum of 40 characters per line
- NO special characters such as @ $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + = \ | ; : " { } [ ] < > ? ~ `
- Only the last four digits of account numbers, if necessary, should be placed on the second line only
- City, State and ZIP code must be on one (1) line
- City, State and ZIP code must be the last line of the address
- There must be a comma placed after the city name
- All states must be two letter abbreviations
- Nine digit ZIP codes must be typed with a hyphen separating the two groups of digits
- Each creditor must be separated by at least one blank line
