Public Comment on Proposed Revisions to Local Bankruptcy Rules
The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas has drafted a revision of its Local Bankruptcy Rules. The Court invites public comment on its proposed revised Local Bankruptcy Rules.
A 45-day public comment period will commence today, December 22, 2009, and will end on February 5, 2010. In order to be considered, all comments must be in writing and received by the Court no later than February 5, 2010 at 4:30 pm central time. You may email your comments to localrules@txnb.uscourts.gov or you may hand-deliver or mail your comments to the clerk's office at 1100 Commerce Street, Room 1254, Dallas, TX 75242. Please include your name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and email address so that you may be contacted if there are questions about your comments. Also, please email your comments to the Chairman of the Local Rules Committee, Michael McConnell, at Michael.McConnell@khh.com. The Local Rules Committee has agreed to assist the Court in its consideration of the public comments.
