On September 15, 2020, the Judicial Conference of the United States approved proposed amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. The proposed amendments were transmitted to the Supreme Court on October 20, 2020. The Supreme Court adopted these proposed amendments and transmitted them to Congress on April 14, 2021, and they will take effect on December 1, 2021, absent congressional intervention.
