The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit seeks applications from all highly qualified candidates for a 14-year appointment as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Texas at San Antonio.
The selection process will be confidential and competitive. The current annual salary is $227,608. Only those persons with a law degree whose character, experience, ability, and impartiality qualify them to serve in the Judicial Branch should apply. The individual selected must comply with the financial disclosure requirements of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, Pub. L. No. 95-521 (1978) (as amended) (codified at 5 U.S.C. §§ 13101-13111).
